About the job
As a Security Consultant, you help clients improve their security. Together with the client, you determine where and which improvements will have the greatest impact. You perform audits and risk analyses, help develop policies, and advise on technical solutions that support security processes.
You travel a lot, visiting different clients in different locations. It may sound clichéd, but no two days are the same. This is especially true with clients in very diverse sectors. One day, you might be mainly involved in processes and audits; the next, you might be implementing security solutions. You can organize your working week yourself, so you can enjoy plenty of variety while continuing to expand your specialism through the different tasks.
You are responsible for
- Maintaining contact with your customers and ensuring that appointments are scheduled with the planning department.
- Interacting with customers to determine their needs and advising on possible solutions.
- Overseeing and maintaining ISO 27001 certifications, conducting internal audits and advising on the most effective implementation of measures.
- You implement security solutions and oversee their implementation by our partners.
- You perform technical security audits and assess security architecture.

Job requirements
- In possession of a bachelor’s degree or demonstrable equivalent work and thinking level.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a technical IT role
- Your profile shows that you have an affinity for information security and cybersecurity.
- Experience with ISO 27001 management systems (pre).
- You have up-to-date knowledge and skills in information security and have always kept them up to date.
- You are analytical, critical, solution-oriented and have good communication skills.
- You are also motivated to learn new things.
